MilDef has signed an initial production contract from Astronics Corporation, a provider of advanced technologies for global aerospace, defense and mission critical industries. This contract integrates MilDef’s computing platform within the Astronics portable radio test suite being provided to U.S. Marine Corps’ (USMC) Handheld Radio Test Sets Program (HHRTS).
This initial contract, valued at 3 MUSD for MilDef, is in support of USMC’s fielding for the Astronics HHRTS test equipment and will be delivered in 2023/2024 to meet the fielding plan. The Astronics HHRTS contract is a 5-Year, Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (FFP/IDIQ) contracting vehicle.
